About The Founder

Felicia L. Hamilton, BS, MA, Founder of 'I Love You' The Movement, LLC is passionate about rekindling the flame of purpose by serving survivors of suicide ideation and suicide attempts. From experience, she recalls how the light of purpose was dimmed after multiple attempts to end her own life. She provides a valuable resource that she prayed for but was not available to her in her younger years.

Ms. Hamilton is actively involved in serving her community. She serves as an ordained Elder and Assistant Pastor, is certified in mental health first aid, QPR trained, and has worked as a sexual assault victim’s advocate and first responder to assaulted survivors. Additionally, she is a founding partner of the International event "Mental Health Action Day" powered by the MTV Entertainment Group; and annually hosts a campaign  for National Hugging Day (US) on January 21st.

Felicia graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology (with graduating thesis) from Wilberforce
University (Wilberforce, Ohio). And she has earned a Master of Arts degree (with a graduating thesis) from United Theological Seminary (Trotwood, OH). Thesis:

The Church Response to the

Un-Natural Disaster of Suicide and Its Answer To A Community Affected.

She is currently a  professor and teaching Emotional & Spiritual Health.

Ms. Hamilton is the mother of a beautiful baby girl who she affectionately calls, BaileyGirl, and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Ms. Hamilton dotes over many quotes, but one she lives by daily is from Arnold H. Glasgow, “Success is not a result of spontaneous combustion; you must set yourself on fire!” Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” She best describes herself as a servant-trailblazer and says that only through God's plans she finds peace and can set fire to the trail for herself and for the next generation.
